Housing in Singapore

So supposedly last month sales dropped. The funny thing is, even if nobody buys and sales drop, the price will still be high. Just watch it. I will be surprised if the price really drops in the short term.

This is just a place holder for real estate matters I am concern or interested in.

A place to gather my thoughts as it were =)


The first enclosure link refers to a drop of more than 10% in new applicants to be real estate agents.

Also of note is the information by Singapore's Council for Estate Agents (CEA)

There seems to be a RES requirement and a CPD requirement.

RES's effect appears to be increasing the education level of the agents and CPD is the yearly professional update component

This is a website by Lucas =)



In essence it is a private tuition with a tech slant due Maggie.


Lucas believes that:

Now what is special about Lucas's offering is this: You get to trial the tuition!

There would be 2 free lessons of Mathematics revision through which the parent can gauge his effectiveness as a tutor. There is no obligation for you to sign up.

Group sizes will be limited to 6 per group. This is to ensure that peer learning is maximised yet effective.

When kids ask questions in a group, they learn better, as questions that one student may not have thought of, may be raised by another student. The group is kept small to ensure that each student gets the required quality individual attention.

Duration of each lesson will be 2 hours. This is to accommodate all questions asked within the group.

So give it a shot at least first 2 lessons =)
