Zhongsou -- whose shareholders include venture capital heavyweights Legend Capital and IDG -- is seeking to expand its service portfolio ahead of an initial public offering which it hopes to hold at the end of 2007. "The talks are still going on and it is hard to say exactly when they will be completed ... We think the merger will be mutually beneficial and will speed up our preparations for a listing," one source told Reuters.
One does wonder, is it a local company and will there be opportunity to buy in?
Still if it is a foreign start up competing with Baidu, then what value add does it give?
